Job summary

Dogwood Veterinary Specialty and Emergency in Dunwoody, Georgia is building a new Diagnostic Imaging team to support advanced imaging, MRI, CT, and radiology services. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technician, you’ll prepare, image, monitor anesthesia, and help manage complex cases with radiologists and specialty clinicians.

Entry not required; we seek experienced veterinary professionals with strong imaging and patient-care skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary hospital experience.
• Strong veterinary nursing and patient-care skills.
• Confidence with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory diagnostics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced specialty and emergency environment.
• Effective communication with veterinarians, specialists, technicians, assistants, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, position, and monitor patients for advanced diagnostic imaging.
• Support MRI, CT, digital radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures.
• Assist with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
