Job summary

Animal Medical Center of Seattle in Shoreline, WA is seeking a Veterinarian with dentistry and oral surgery expertise to join a premier multispecialty hospital. This permanent, full-time role offers base salary starting at $225,000 plus production and opportunities to shape a growing dentistry service.

You’ll work alongside experienced specialists, participate in multidisciplinary cases, and play a key role in developing workflows and standards within AMCS.

Qualifications

  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Washington veterinary licensure.
  • Board Certification in Veterinary Dentistry (DAVDC) or board-eligible status.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of dental and oral diseases in companion animals.
  • Perform advanced oral surgical and dental procedures utilizing dedicated dentistry equipment and imaging technology.
  • Collaborate with specialists and emergency clinicians on complex multidisciplinary cases.
  • Develop and grow a dedicated dentistry caseload while strengthening referral relationships.
  • Help shape workflows, service standards, and the future direction of dentistry at AMCS.
  • Provide clear and compassionate communication to clients regarding diagnostics, treatment plans, procedures, and long-term care.
  • Mentor technicians and support staff involved in dentistry and oral surgery services.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
