Job summary

Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists, located in Buzzards Bay and Dennis, MA, seeks a board-certified, board-eligible, or residency-trained Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Specialist to join our growing ECC team.

You will oversee ICU/ER care, collaborate with emergency veterinarians, specialists, interns, and nursing staff, and contribute to teaching and service development as we expand capabilities, including advanced imaging and new specialty services.

Qualifications

• DVM degree or equivalent required.
• Completion of an Emergency and Critical Care residency.
• Must have NAVLE; PAVES or ECFVG if applicable.
• Board certification or eligibility through ACVECC or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• ICU and ER management for critical patients.
• Mentorship and teaching of interns and residents.
• Collaborate with specialty services for complex cases.
• Support growth and development of the ECC service across locations.
