Job summary

North Oatlands Animal Hospital in Leesburg, VA seeks a full-time Practice Manager to lead veterinarians, technicians and staff. Salary is $70K-$90K, with Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm expectations and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement and a pet discount.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, personnel management, scheduling, inventory, and drive continuous improvement while balancing the needs of the business and the staff.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in a veterinary setting.
• Experience executing HR functions, including SOPs, evaluations, and disciplinary action.
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize the practice management system ImproMed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations with focus on personnel management (hiring, training, development).
• Manage clinic operations including scheduling and inventory.
• Coach colleagues toward continuous improvement and strong client experience.
• Balance business needs with staff well-being and initiative.
