Job summary

Bucksport Veterinary Hospital is seeking customer service professionals to be the knowledgeable, welcoming front at our busy clinic. We offer full-time or part-time schedules, Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, four 10‑hour shifts with no weekend hours.

You’ll discuss vaccines, coordinate appointments, and communicate veterinary terminology with empathy to support patient care and client relationships. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, a pet discount, PTO, a 401(k) plan, and an employee

Qualifications

• Experience in a veterinary office preferred.
• Ability to discuss vaccines, procedures, and care with clients.
• Calm, professional, and empathetic demeanor.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Comfort with payment processing and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for clients and pets.
• Escort clients to exam rooms and relay information.
• Handle calls for appointments, questions, refills.
• Process payments and schedule future visits.
• Explain common vaccines and procedures in user-friendly terms.
• Maintain a welcoming, organized front desk environment.
