  • Ensure Precise Drug Calculation and Administration: You'll accurately calculate, prepare, and administer cardiac medications, sedatives, and emergency drugs.
  • Perform Phlebotomy and Sample Collection: You'll perform venipuncture, place IV catheters, collect samples for laboratory analysis, and take radiographs.
  • Provide Compassionate Care: You'll provide compassionate patient care and ensure patient comfort, all while maintaining a clean and organized facility.
  • Create a Positive Client Experience: You'll discharge patients, review treatment plans and follow-up care with clients, and assist with client service operations such as answering phones and scheduling appointments.
  • Drive Operational Excellence and Mentorship: You'll accurately maintain medical records, prescriptions, and controlled drug logs using our computer systems, and help train and mentor veterinary assistants and new teammates.
  • Support Anesthesia and Patient Monitoring (in select locations): You'll induce, maintain, and monitor patients under sedation and anesthesia, continuously assessing vital parameters in often medically fragile cardiac patients and escalating concerns to the cardiologist promptly.
