Job summary

Artemis Vet Search is partnering with a leading 24/7 veterinary specialty and emergency hospital in Norwalk, CT to recruit a board-certified or residency-trained Cardiologist. This role offers involvement in advanced cardiac care within a collaborative referral team and access to 24/7 emergency support.

The Cardiologist will work across specialties, participate in complex cases, and contribute to mentorship and education while maintaining the highest clinical standards in a coastal Connecticut

Qualifications

• DVM degree and veterinary licensure in Connecticut are required.
• Board-certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Cardiology is required.
• Strong communication, leadership and collaboration skills are essential.
• Commitment to the highest standards of specialty veterinary medicine and ethics.
• Experience in a multi-specialty referral setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage advanced cardiology cases in dogs and cats.
• Collaborate closely with emergency and specialty teams.
• Participate in complex referral case management.
• Utilize advanced diagnostics and state-of-the-art treatments.
• Support mentorship and education within the hospital.
