Job description

This hospital has been delivering advanced specialty and emergency medicine to the greater Austin area for more than 25 years and has built a loyal referral network with primary care veterinarians throughout Central Texas.

The multi-specialty team includes board certified surgeons, internists, and emergency clinicians, alongside a dedicated cardiology department that this role is being brought in to lead and grow.

The hospital offers a full range of referral services including surgery, internal medicine, allergy and dermatology, neurology, ophthalmology, oncology, critical care, and rehabilitation, supported by round the clock emergency coverage.

Cardiology candidates will have access to modern diagnostic and treatment equipment, dedicated case support from the wider specialty team, and full clinical autonomy to build out the department in a way that reflects their own approach to practice.

Based in South Austin, the hospital benefits from a fast growing, vibrant local community with a strong appreciation for quality pet care, giving the incoming cardiologist a steady and varied referral caseload from day one.

About You

• Board certified or residency trained Veterinary Cardiologist
• Hold or be eligible for a Veterinary State License in Texas
• Confident managing a full range of diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases
• Collaborative team player who works well within a multi-specialty environment
• Strong communicator with a commitment to mentorship and shared success
