Wake Forest Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our veterinary team. You will assist doctors and technicians, help restrain and monitor patients, and support radiology and treatment tasks for hospitalized animals.

You will communicate with clients, manage equipment and supplies, and participate in daily care duties to ensure high-quality service and patient welfare.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors and technicians in daily veterinary care.
• Manage patient restraint and monitoring during exams and procedures.
• Aid in radiology procedures and image handling.
• Communicate with clients about pet care, post-visit instructions, and follow-up.
• Maintain equipment and inventory, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
• Provide daily treatments to hospitalized patients as directed.
