Who We Are:
PetWOW is a family‑owned veterinary company founded in 1971. We operate two Northern Kentucky hospitals and a fleet of mobile wellness vehicles serving the Greater Cincinnati area.
Our mission is simple: strengthen people and pets by making pet care easy.
We work hard, move quickly, and care deeply about our team, clients, and patients. We believe great pet care starts with great people, which is why we focus on creating a supportive and team‑oriented workplace with opportunities to grow, regular recognition for strong performance, and a servant leadership approach.
We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and dependable Veterinary Assistant/Technician to join our team.
This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced veterinary environment where teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail are essential. Team members play a direct role in patient care by assisting doctors with exam room appointments, educating clients, and helping create a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality patient care.
To provide the best possible care for our patients, team members should be comfortable working within our operating hours and maintaining flexibility as scheduling needs arise. While this position is primarily based at one hospital location, occasional coverage at our nearby hospitals (all within a 15‑mile radius) may be requested to support our teams and patients. Because schedules are built around patient care needs, some week‑to‑week variation may occur. Candidates with reliable availability, adaptability, and a collaborative, team‑focused approach will be especially successful in this role
$2000.00 onboarding signing bonus paid in three installments:
$500.00 on 1st paycheck, $500.00 upon completion of training, $1000.00 6 months post‑training
Annual Salary Range: 33,280 – 40,560. Hourly is 16/hr – 19.50/hr.
Placement within range is determined by licensure and experience, with Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs having passed VTNE) qualifying for the higher end of the scale.
