San Tan Animal Hospital in Queen Creek, AZ, is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support our medical team. You will provide essential patient care, assist with surgical procedures, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, and daily hospital duties in a fast-paced, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to handle fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment with composure.
• Confidence in handling pets of various sizes and temperaments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws (saphenous, cephalic, jugular) and place IV catheters.
• Assist with surgical procedures and perioperative care.
• Support anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery.
• Assist with radiographs and other diagnostic procedures.
• Provide restraining, treatments, and daily compassionate care.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and team for optimal outcomes.
