Job summary

VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver, CO is seeking a Veterinary Assistant for the radiology department. This full-time role (Sunday-Wednesday, four 10-hour shifts) supports doctors and technicians, provides compassionate client service, and helps maintain a clean, safe hospital environment.

You will gain experience in patient exams, vitals, medical records, and diagnostic imaging while enjoying a strong benefits package and the resources of a large veterinary community.

Qualifications

• Restraining and assisting in patient exams and routine procedures.
• Taking detailed medical histories and patient vitals.
• Filling prescriptions (as allowed by law).
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Maintaining medical records.
• Assisting our Doctor and Technician staff as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment.

VCA Alameda East is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team in the radiology department.

Location: Denver, CO

Schedule: Full-time, Sunday-Wednesday, four 10-hour shifts.

Compensation: $20.00-24.00/hr.
