Job summary

Qualifications

• NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program certificate or equivalent education/experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to perform NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant duties.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure safety and quality care.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients and communicate with the team.
• Set up procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance.
• Adhere to hospital standards for clean and organized areas.
• Educate clients about preventive care and wellness plans.
• Mentor other team members.
