BluePearl Pet Hospital in Rockville, MD is seeking an Oncology Veterinary Assistant to join our compassionate oncology team. This role supports veterinarians and technicians during treatment, assists with chemotherapy preparation, and helps ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced specialty setting.

Pay:$21.25 - $31.40 / hour

This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool.

As an Oncology Veterinary Assistant, you will:

• Assist the Technicians and Doctors monitoring patient during treatment.
• Set up appropriate materials for chemotherapy administration.
• Help restrain patients during appointments and treatment.
• Safely dispense, reconstitute, and administered SQ/IM chemotherapy agents.
• Properly wrap and shave for an IV catheter for chemotherapy infusion
• Help stock and clean appointment room.
