Job summary

Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center in Middletown, CT is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our Oncology Team. The role involves assisting veterinarians and technicians, handling animals, and supporting client communication in a busy specialty hospital.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment that is always evolving and communicates well with others. We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant who is already comfortable with handling/restraint, basic surgery prep, and assisting Veterinary Technicians and other staff members in a clinical setting.

Experience with EzyVet and Smartflow are an additional plus but not required. We highly value collaboration from all staff members, so please speak up as your input is not only valued but can make a difference.

Anticipated Schedule:

This is a full-time position:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday - 9am-7pm

Holidays are required.

Compensation:

$19.00 - $22.00 an hour dependent on experience and education.
