Small Door is seeking a veterinary assistant to join our NYC-area clinics. This role supports doctors, handles basic nursing tasks, and ensures high-quality care for pets in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

• Recognize medical emergencies and illnesses.
• Assessing patients.
• Record vitals and assist doctors with diagnostics.

• Provide basic husbandry and nursing care.
• Monitor changes in patients and provide compassionate care.
• Assist in radiography capture.
• Prepare samples for outside labs.
• Run in-house labs.
• Prepare medications and administer medications.
• Work tele-triage shifts (additional stipend).

What you'll do
