Whole Pet Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our full-service small animal team. You will assist the medical staff with hands-on patient care, support veterinarians and technicians, handle scheduling and client communications, and help maintain a clean, safe hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Calm and efficient under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence and skill in handling pets of all sizes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic veterinary skills including lab, pharmacy, nursing and radiology is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide Essential Patient Care: support the medical team with hands-on care and compassion.
• Be the Go-To Support for the Medical Team: anticipate needs to ensure smooth workflow.
• Create a Positive Client Experience: assist with scheduling, payments, and communications.
• Ensure a Safe and Clean Environment: maintain hospital standards and equipment.
