Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year experience as Veterinary Assistant is required.
• Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator.
• Veterinary technician license is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to properly restrain pets.
• Proficient in sample collection, obtaining medical histories, processing laboratory tests and radiographs, and anesthesia monitoring.
• Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.

Responsibilities

• Pet restraint and triage incoming patients.
• Assist in exam rooms and collect and analyze lab samples.
• Operate diagnostic imaging and assist in anesthesia monitoring.
• Provide nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases.
• Communicate treatment plans to clients and ensure understanding.
