The role supports exams, anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, radiology, lab work, venipuncture and client communication. Flexible with a 4-day, 10-hour schedule under an alternative work week.

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Assistant with relevant education and experience.
• Ability to perform physical exams and patient assessment.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep and assisting.
• Competence in dentistry, radiology, IV access and sample collection.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures.
• Assist with surgical preparation and operative support.
• Conduct dentistry, radiology and laboratory tasks as needed.
• Perform venipuncture and catheter placement.
• Manage pharmacy tasks and patient recovery.
• Maintain clear client communication and compassionate care.
