Mission Pet Health's Flower Mound Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center seeks a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to support small animal and emergency care. You will assist the medical team with hands-on patient care, help manage urgent visits, and contribute to a smooth, collaborative workflow in a fast-paced clinic.

With a High School Diploma and strong organizational and communication skills, you will handle routine tasks, scheduling support, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Calm and efficient approach in fast-paced, sometimes stressful environments.
• Confidence handling pets of various sizes and temperaments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with basic veterinary skills (laboratory, pharmacy, nursing, radiology) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential patient care as part of the medical team.
• Support the medical team to ensure smooth, efficient, and collaborative workflow.
• Assist scheduling, payments, and communications to create a positive client experience.
• Maintain a safe and clean hospital environment and perform routine upkeep.
