Job summary

XPrep Learning Solutions LLC is seeking a Veterinary Assistant in Crozet, VA to support veterinarians and technicians in clinical and administrative duties. The role focuses on compassionate patient care and smooth clinic operation.

The assistant will help during exams, restrain animals, maintain records, and ensure clean, organized exam rooms and treatment areas. Weekend/evening availability and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Preferred have at least 1 year of veterinary medicine experience.
• Dependable and self-motivated with good communication.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations and procedures.
• Restrain cats and dogs; experience with exotic pets is a plus.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and facilities; maintain patient records.
• Maintain clean hospital spaces, stocked pharmacy, and exam rooms.
