Mission Pet Health seeks a Veterinary Assistant at Jarrell Animal Hospital to join a skilled team delivering thorough, compassionate care. You will assist veterinarians and technicians, support clients, and help maintain a clean, well-equipped clinic in a community-focused setting.

Based in Jarrell, TX, you will work with four veterinarians and an LVT Hospital Manager, enjoying a culture that values stability, mentorship, and professional growth through AVMA-accredited programs and broad network

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Calm and efficient approach in fast-paced environment.
• Confidence and skill in handling pets of all sizes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills including laboratory, pharmacy, nursing and radiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide Essential Patient Care: assist the medical team with hands-on care and compassion for every animal.
• Be the Go-To Support for the Medical Team: anticipate needs to ensure a smooth, collaborative workflow.
• Create a Positive Client Experience: assist with scheduling, payments, and communications with courtesy.
• Ensure a Safe and Clean Environment: maintain hospital and equipment to uphold high care standards.
