Rocky Mountain Small Animal Hospital (RMSAH) in Highlands Ranch, CO, is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our AAHA-accredited team. You will support veterinarians and technicians with hands-on patient care, radiology and nursing tasks, and client communications within a busy, collaborative hospital.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Calm and efficient approach for fast-paced environments.
• Confidence and skill in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills ranging from laboratory and pharmacy to nursing and radiology is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide Essential Patient Care: you'll be a key player in our patients' health, assisting the medical team with hands-on care and compassionate handling.
• Be the Go-To Support for the Medical Team: anticipate veterinarians' and technicians' needs to ensure smooth workflow.
• Create a Positive Client Experience: assist with scheduling, payments, and communications with courtesy and clarity.
• Ensure a Safe and Clean Environment: maintain hospital cleanliness and equipment to uphold high care standards.
