Job summary

Genoa Animal Hospital, part of AmeriVet Veterinary Partners, is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Assistant in Genoa, IL. You will assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgeries, restrain animals, and educate clients in a fast-paced clinic.

The role requires at least 3 years as a Veterinary Assistant, strong animal handling, and excellent teamwork and communication skills. Schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts.

Located in Genoa, Illinois, Genoa Animal Hospital is a full-service small-animal practice that has been serving the community for more than 30 years. The hospital provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats, including wellness and preventive medicine, dentistry, diagnostics and imaging, surgery, urgent and emergency care, and laser therapy. With a focus on compassionate care, technical expertise, and individualized attention, the team is committed to helping pets live healthier lives while building lasting relationships with the families they serve. We are looking for a Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting with anesthesia, dental cleanings, surgery, and be comfortable with and have an interest in interacting with clients. Schedule is Monday to Friday, no weekends.

Compensation starts at $21/hr, and is dependent upon experience.
