Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of veterinary assistant experience.
- Experience assisting in exams, treatments, surgeries and dentistry.
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Strong communication and teamwork with clients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Support efficient exam, outpatient, surgical and dental workflows.
- Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgeries and dentistry.
- Provide safe patient handling and restraint.
- Prepare patients, equipment and treatment areas.
- Monitor anesthesia and assist recovery as directed.
- Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiography.
- Maintain medical records and treatment documentation.
- Explain treatment plans and discharge instructions to clients.
- Foster positive client relationships through education and service.
- Keep exam rooms and spaces clean and organized.
