Bellevue Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to support our clients and patients across all aspects of hospital care, including patient care, surgery, dentistry, and outpatient procedures in a fast-paced team environment. Ideal candidates are dependable, able to multitask, and capable of maintaining accurate medical records while communicating professionally with clients.

This full-time role follows a 4/10 schedule with Monday–Saturday availability (Saturdays

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in veterinary assistant or related role.
• Safe animal handling and restraint for dogs and cats.
• Ability to assist with exams, treatments, dentistry, and outpatient procedures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Compassionate, professional client communication.

Responsabilités

• Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgical procedures, and dentistry.
• Provide safe, gentle patient handling and restraint during outpatient and procedural care.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiography.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Review treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully prepared exam rooms, treatment areas, and procedural spaces.
