East Mountain Veterinary Service is seeking an energetic, self-starting individual to join our growing, fast-paced veterinary practice in Edgewood, NM. The role involves animal restraint, administering treatments, taking x-rays, blood draws, catheter insertions, and running basic lab tests.

This full-time position offers PTO, health insurance and bonuses with merit-based increases. We welcome applicants willing to train; candidates should be able to stand for long shifts, lift 50+ lbs and work

Qualifications

• Experience and education preferred, but WILLING TO TRAIN the right candidate.
• Must be able to stand for 12+ hours per day, with bending and lifting 50+ lbs.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-stress clinic environment with animal handling

Responsibilities

• Restrain animals as needed and provide basic care.
• Assist with administering treatments and taking x-rays.
• Perform blood draws and catheter insertions; run basic lab tests and maintain diagnostic equipment
