Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary assistant experience.
• Proficiency in safe animal handling and restraint for dogs and cats of varying sizes.
• Strong client communication and education skills.
• Experience with exams, treatments, blood draws, IVC placement, and outpatient procedures.

Responsabilités

• Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, surgeries, and dentistry.
• Provide safe patient handling and restraint during procedures.
• Prepare patients, equipment and rooms for appointments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Educate clients and build positive relationships with patients and their guardians.
• Keep exam and treatment areas clean, organized and ready for use.
