Job summary

VCA Wakefield Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced veterinary assistant to join our AAHA-accredited, 11-doctor practice located just north of Boston. You will support technician and doctor teams, creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients while delivering outstanding care and client service.

• Supports technician and doctor teams to deliver a positive client experience.
• Experience with physical examinations and patient assessment.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and dentistry.
• Proficiency in venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, and lab work.

• Assist veterinarians and technicians in clinical procedures.

Our AAHA-accredited, 11-doctor general and exotics practice is located in a modern facility just 20 minutes north of Boston and 20 minutes south of New Hampshire.

Schedule: Full time, weekend rotation required.

Compensation: $21.00 - $24.00 / hour is based on skill set and experience.
