VCA All Animal Hospital of Orange Park is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our General Practice team full time. We are a committed, collaborative hospital focused on progressive medicine with compassion. Our AAHA-accredited clinic offers general wellness, surgery, advanced diagnostics, and preventive care.

Schedule: Full time with weekend rotation; flexible scheduling available. Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour based on skill set and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as Veterinary Assistant or Credentialed Technician welcomed; strong teamwork and client communication helpful.

Responsibilities

• Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Collecting patient histories and assisting with physical exams.
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
• Laboratory sample collection and processing.
• IV, IM, and Subcutaneous medication administration.
• Client education and counseling.
• Working collaboratively with veterinarians and all hospital departments.
• Providing compassionate, high-quality nursing care to all patients.

Veterinary Assistant Duties

• Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
