Thrive Pet Healthcare in Hoffman Estates, IL is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to bolster our dermatology-focused team. You’ll support patient care with hands-on dermatology treatments, lab testing, and crucial services like intake, monitoring and discharge.

Dermatology for Animals is looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Hoffman Estates, IL location. Four, 10‑hour shifts, no weekends!

About You

You’ll play a vital role in supporting patient care by providing comprehensive assistance throughout each visit. This impactful work includes hands‑on support with dermatology treatments and laboratory testing, as well as essential services such as patient intake, monitoring and discharge.

Your Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1 year of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Assistant, CVT preferred (direct patient care)
• Has strong anesthesia skills
• Possesses a positive work attitude
• Self‑motivated
• Excellent communication and organization skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $24 - $27/hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
