Covenant Animal Clinic in Bellbrook, OH is seeking an experienced veterinary assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on clinic experience, be comfortable taking histories, and assist veterinarians and technicians in daily tasks as needed.

You will contribute to client education, handle animals calmly, and support a collaborative team focused on high-quality care. This role is based in a busy veterinary clinic in Bellbrook, OH.

Qualifications

• Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred - or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
• Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take histories from clients and record accurately.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians in daily tasks as needed.
• Hold animals in a calm and safe manner during examinations and procedures.
