Madison Veterinary Hospital in Madison, Alabama, is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team and support a varied small animal caseload alongside three experienced veterinarians.

You will provide hands-on patient care, assist with clinical tasks across laboratory, pharmacy, nursing and radiology, and help deliver compassionate client service in a collaborative, growth‑oriented practice backed by Mission Pet Health.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Calm and efficient under fast-paced conditions.
• Confident handling of pets of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Fundamental veterinary skills in lab, pharmacy, nursing and radiology are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential patient care and assist the medical team with hands-on duties.
• Be the go-to support for the medical team to ensure smooth clinic workflow.
• Create a positive client experience through scheduling, payments, and communication.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and assist with clinic upkeep.
