Sactown Vet is a newer, full-service small animal hospital located in Midtown Sacramento. We are seeking a veterinary assistant to support one of our doctors and keep the veterinarian focused on patient care.

The role involves maintaining patient records, creating estimates, filling medications, and ensuring smooth patient flow. You will assist with anesthesia consent forms, drop-off appointments, and communicate recommendations to clients.

Qualifications

• Keeps patient records organized and up-to-date.
• Communicates veterinarian recommendations clearly to clients.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy hospital environment.
• Demonstrates initiative and reliability in handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient records.
• Create estimates for services as needed.
• Fill medications as prescribed.
