Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a Veterinary Assistant at Livewell Animal Urgent Care of Worthington. You will assist the medical team with hands-on patient care, helping ensure compassionate treatment for every animal while supporting physicians and technicians for efficient workflows.

You’ll create a positive client experience by handling scheduling, payments, and communications, and you’ll help maintain a safe, clean hospital environment with a collaborative team spirit.

Qualifications

• A calm and efficient approach, with the ability to handle a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment with composure.
• Confidence and skill in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills ranging from laboratory and pharmacy to nursing and radiology is a strong asset.

• Tuesday: Closed
• Wednesday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Friday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Schedule: Shifts from 12:00 pm 10:00 pm; Team members must be available on weekends.
