Job summary

All-Star Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Assistant focused on compassionate patient care and excellent client service. You will work closely with doctors and technicians to ensure smooth appointments and high-quality veterinary care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with technician appointments and patient care.
• Safely restrain patients for examinations and treatments.
• Administer vaccines where permitted.
• Perform nail trims and anal gland expressions.
• Assist with blood draws and lab sample collection.
• Prepare patients and treatment areas; maintain medical records.
• Support doctors and technicians with daily patient care.
• Create a welcoming experience for clients and their pets.

What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll work closely with our doctors and technicians to provide high-quality patient care while helping appointments run smoothly. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with technician appointments
• Safely restraining patients for examinations and treatments
• Administering vaccines (as permitted)
• Performing nail trims and anal gland expressions
• Assisting with blood draws and laboratory sample collection
• Preparing patients and treatment areas
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Supporting doctors and technicians with patient care throughout the day
• Creating a positive, welcoming experience for both clients and their pets
