VCA Boone Animal Hospital is expanding and seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant!

Compensation

$17.00 – $24.00/hour

Pay range is negotiable based on experience, education, skills, and credentials.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday - Thursday with rotating Saturdays.

Our Veterinary Assistants support our veterinarians and technicians in all aspects of animal care by restraining our patients during physical exams, treatments, and procedures. They are an advocate for our patients to ensure they receive the proper care in a safe and comfortable manner.

• Providing support to the entire veterinary hospital staff
• Ensure there is a clean, comfortable environment for patients and clients
• Ensuring that treatment areas and exam rooms remain fully stocked

• Keep accurate records and logs
• Sterilize equipment
• Observing patients for obvious signs of health concerns and reporting any findings to senior staff
