Job summary

Pima North Animal Hospital in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant who is passionate about patient care and teamwork, to grow skills with an experienced and supportive team.

For nearly 30 years, this AAHA-accredited, Cat Friendly Practice offers medical, surgical, dental, boarding and grooming services with advanced diagnostics and a collaborative culture focused on outstanding care for patients and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of veterinary experience required.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred, but not required.
• Strong patient care and animal handling skills.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to compassionate patient care and exceptional client service.
• Interest in continuing education and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with appointments, treatments, and medical procedures
• Performing patient assessments and monitoring hospitalized patients
• Collecting laboratory samples and running in-house diagnostics

• Supporting anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery

• Maintaining accurate medical records and patient documentation
• Collaborating with doctors, assistants, and client service representatives to ensure exceptional patient care

What You'll Do

As a member of our medical team, you'll play an essential role in supporting our doctors and advocating for patient health and comfort. Responsibilities include:
