Job summary

VCA Richland Animal Hospital, located in Richland, MI, is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support doctors and technicians and help create positive experiences for pets and families. This part-time position offers opportunities to work across exam rooms, procedures, and client communication.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of veterinary assistant experience, a strong work ethic, and excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Restrain and safely handle pets for exams and treatments.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital.
• Sterilize instruments and prepare surgical packs.
• Assist with laboratory samples and diagnostics.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Deliver compassionate care to patients and clients every day.
