Mission Pet Health in Utah is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinary Assistant. You will support veterinarians and technicians with hands-on patient care in a fast-paced setting, helping ensure smooth operations during emergencies and upholding high care standards.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of veterinary experience (ER/high-volume preferred), stay calm under pressure, and communicate effectively with clients. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.

• Stay calm, composed, and efficient during a medical crisis.
• Confidence and skill in handling pets; basic lab, pharmacy, and nursing tasks.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced team.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Your Impact as an Urgent Care Veterinary Assistant

• Be a Critical Support in Urgent Situations: You'll be an essential part of the medical team, directly assisting veterinarians and technicians with hands-on patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure a Seamless Workflow During a Crisis: Your ability to anticipate needs and maintain composure will be key to keeping the clinic running efficiently, even during a medical emergency.
• Provide a Calming Presence for Clients: You'll be a reassuring point of contact for worried pet owners, assisting with check-ins, payments, and communications with empathy and professionalism.
• Maintain High Standards Under Pressure: You'll uphold our commitment to excellence by ensuring accurate record-keeping and maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment at all times.

What You'll Bring to the Team

• At least 1 year of veterinary experience, with ER or high-volume experience preferred.
