Northside Veterinary Clinic in Brooklyn, NY is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians, technicians, and staff in delivering high-quality animal care and customer service. The role offers a solid schedule with four 10‑hour shifts and competitive hourly pay.

You will assist during examinations and surgeries, restrain and monitor animals, prepare rooms, collect basic samples, administer medications, and help maintain medical records and clinic operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary assistant experience.
• Technical know-how in disinfection, administering medication, and using diagnostic equipment.
• Physical ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.

Veterinary Assistant

Northside Veterinary Clinic is hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant to work alongside our team of experienced veterinarians, skilled technicians, and devoted support staff to ensure each animal receives the best possible care during their stay with us. Salary: $24 - $27 per hour,determined by the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications.

Schedule: This is a full-time position averaging 35–40 hours per week, four 10-hour shifts. Candidates must have availability Monday through Friday (8:45 AM–6:00 PM) and Saturdays (8:45 AM–4:00 PM).
