The Veterinary Eye Center of Long Island City is seeking an entry-level Veterinary Assistant who loves animals to join our growing team in Long Island City. The role offers a collaborative environment, modern tools, and strong support to help you learn and thrive.

The Veterinary Eye Center is looking for an entry-level Veterinary Assistant and animal lover to join our growing team at our location in Long Island City. Veterinary experience is required. Penn Foster:
Full-time Veterinary Assistants in good standing can advance their careers through our fully sponsored Penn Foster Veterinary Technician Degree Program, one of the few AVMA-accredited online programs in the country. We pay for up to four semesters of tuition directly and support you along the way with structured check-ins and flexibility to complete required externships. After graduation, we also cover your VTNE exam and licensure fees, with no post-graduation work commitment required.

What You'll Do:

What We Require:

• 1+ years’ experience as a Veterinary Assistant
• Confidence with handling and restraint
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and an ability to clearly communicate with clients as well as team members

• Highly evolved organizational skills with an acute attention to detail
• The ability to work independently, responsibly, and ethically
