Livewell Animal Urgent Care of East Nashville is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinary Assistant to join our fast-paced emergency-focused team. You will directly support veterinarians and technicians with hands-on patient care in urgent situations, helping to keep workflows efficient and safe.

You’ll be a calming presence for clients, assist with check-ins and payments, and uphold high standards of record-keeping and cleanliness in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of veterinary experience, ER or high-volume experience preferred.
• Ability to stay calm, composed, and efficient during a medical crisis.
• Confidence and skill in handling pets, with basic lab, pharmacy, and nursing skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Your Impact as an Urgent Care Veterinary Assistant

• Be a Critical Support in Urgent Situations: You'll be an essential part of the medical team, directly assisting veterinarians and technicians with hands-on patient care in a fast-paced environment.
