Mission Pet Health seeks a Veterinary Assistant to join our Georgetown hospital. You’ll provide hands-on patient care, assist veterinarians and technicians, and contribute to a collaborative, education-driven team focused on medical excellence across wellness, urgent care, surgery, and diagnostics.

With a high school diploma and a calm, organized approach, you’ll support scheduling, client communications, and daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential patient care by assisting the medical team with hands-on care and ensuring compassionate treatment.
• Be the go-to support for the medical team, anticipating veterinarians' and technicians' needs for smooth workflow.
• Create a positive client experience by assisting with scheduling, payments, and communications with courteous, informative service.
• Maintain a safe and clean hospital environment with routine upkeep and equipment checks.

Your Impact as a Veterinary Assistant

What You'll Bring to the Team

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Confidence and skill in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills ranging from laboratory and pharmacy to nursing and radiology is a strong asset.
