AmeriVet's Dr Bob Irelans Veterinary Services is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, motivated, and passionate about animal care, with strong communication and teamwork to support veterinarians during exams, treatments and surgeries.

You will help educate clients, collect lab samples, maintain records, and ensure a clean, safe clinic. This is a great opportunity for growth through our referral program, CE programs, and career

Qualifications

• Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• CVT/RVT/LVT certification preferred or eligibility to obtain licensure per state requirements.
• AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
• Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
