Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing medical care to animals.
• Handle and restrain animals during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
• Monitor vital signs of animals and report any abnormalities to the veterinarian.
• Prepare examination rooms and surgical suites for procedures.
• Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments.
• Perform basic laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis.
• Assist with radiographs and other diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Provide post-operative care to animals recovering from surgery.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and procedures.
