Berkeley Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join a growing, privately owned clinic known for compassionate care and high-quality medicine. The role offers hands-on clinical growth while collaborating with vets, RVTs, and visiting specialists in a modern facility.

Responsibilities include assisting with exams, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, and medication handling, with patient monitoring and detailed record-keeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of veterinary experience (required).
• Dental and anesthesia monitoring experience preferred.

About Us:

Berkeley Animal Hospital is a modern, privately owned small animal clinic that opened in June 2023. As a growing practice, we are building a strong, supportive team focused on high-quality medicine and compassionate care. Our 3,000 sq. ft. facility includes five exam rooms, a spacious treatment area, a dedicated dental and surgery suite, and Fear Free–focused patient accommodations.

We also collaborate with mobile specialists in cardiology, internal medicine, and surgery, and offer integrative services such as acupuncture.

About the Role:

We are looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant who is passionate about animal care and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to grow your clinical skills while working alongside a supportive and forward-thinking team.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide compassionate, attentive care to patients and excellent service to clients.
