Job summary

Everhart Veterinary Medicine in the Baltimore area is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join a collaborative team. The role supports veterinarians in appointments, performs lab duties, takes digital radiographs, and assists in surgeries and patient care.

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license is preferred but not required; reception experience is a plus. The practice offers a caring culture, ongoing training, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• RVT license preferred but not required.
• Prior veterinary technician experience.
• Good client communication and care.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the veterinarian(s) in appointments.
• Performing various laboratory duties (Idexx and Vetstat machines).
• Taking digital radiographs.
• Assisting in surgeries and medical cases.
• Pharmacology and client service.
• All aspects of patient care.

Description:

Our hospitals practice high quality veterinary medicine and strive to provide compassionate, knowledgeable, care and personal service to both pets and their parents.

Cumulatively, our hospitals offer surgery, dentistry, radiography, ultrasound, rehab, and pharmacy, with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. Our professional staff consists of 12 veterinarians and over 60 team members supporting them at 3 facilities.

As a staple in the Baltimore area for over 65 years, our successful practices have a loyal clientele who value our high-quality medicine, surgery, and service.
