Job summary

Pocono Peak Veterinary Center, an EverVet Partner, seeks a Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians in patient care and daily procedures.

You will assist with radiology, client communications, and daily treatments for hospitalized pets, while maintaining equipment and inventory—providing compassionate, high-quality care in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for animals and desire to interact with a variety of pets.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Willingness to assist doctors and technicians and support daily patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians in patient care and procedures.
• Manage patient restraint to ensure safety of pets and staff.
• Assist in radiology procedures and image capture.
• Communicate with clients about care, procedures, and follow-up.
• Support daily treatments for hospitalized patients and routine equipment maintenance.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
