If you’re looking for an Anesthesiology opportunity where you can join an established service, collaborate with a broad team of specialists, and help meet the growing demand for advanced anesthesia care, Bulger Veterinary Hospital offers an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact. As the second Anesthesiologist on the team, you’ll work alongside an experienced Diplomate while helping expand anesthesia coverage for both scheduled procedures and emergency cases.

Bulger is a 24/7 Emergency, General Practice, and Specialty referral hospital with a highly team-oriented and collaborative culture. You’ll work alongside specialists in Diagnostic Imaging, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, and Critical Care, supported by Emergency clinicians and General Practice teams. Nearby Ethos hospitals provide additional access to Neurology, Dermatology, Oncology, and a compounding pharmacy.

Our 16,500-square-foot hospital, with additional expansion underway, is equipped with advanced diagnostic capabilities including a 64-slice Toshiba Aquilion CT scanner, digital radiography, and digital dental radiography. You’ll also have an exceptional anesthesia support team: approximately 40 technicians with anesthesia training and ongoing education and skill-maintenance programs.

Routine locoregional anesthesia techniques are an important part of the service, supported by point-of-care ultrasound and a nerve stimulator. With a growing caseload and both scheduled and emergency anesthesia needs, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute immediately while helping shape the continued development of the department.
